At this past Sunday's meeting, there was some mention of a local exhibit of contemporary quilts --
Here's the info on the exhibit of Jack Walsh's quilt collection at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, NY. The museum's website doesn't have too much info, but if you're interested, check it out here. And if you're on Facebook, some of the quilts can be seen on the museum's Facebook page here.
Those who have seen the exhibit say it's full of quilter's eye candy! It's on display through February 8, 2013. Perhaps we could arrange a group meetup there sometime after the New Year!
This is really a fabulous exhibit, and it inspires me and uplifts me every time I go see it. Wide range of quilts, very different styles - really inspirational.
