More Info From March Meeting

Great meeting today, with lots of topics discussed. Here are some links for more info (if I've left anything out, please speak up!).

Superior Threads -- lots of info in their "education" section;

Aurifil Thread -- loads of info there;

Red Rock Threads -- source for lots of brands of thread;

Isacord Thread -- mostly known for embroidery;

Sewers Aid -- helps with thread issues;

TOWA tension gauge -- for long-arm and mid-arm machines;

Bernina Stitch Regulator , Baby Lock Stitch Regulator, and Pfaff Stitch Regulator;

10-Minute Quilt Block -- video and book;

Ricky Tims' One-Seam Flying Geese -- method used in Pat's Gothic Windows block;

Y-Seams -- just "Google" it and you can find lots of instructions;

Craftsy -- lots of info, some classes are free, others are for a fee;

More info on shows in Lancaster in March -- all of the following are held at the same time --

AQS show in Lancaster -- note that they don't have a date for 2014;

"Lancaster Quilt Show" -- this seems to be the former "Quilt Blossom Festival" at the Continental Inn;

"Lancaster Spring Quilt Show" -- at the Host Resort, but not the "old" Lancaster show known as Quilters' Heritage Celebration.
